Summertime, and the living is easy...

For many this is a time of year when family and friends descend en-masse for an annual visit. You may need to find somewhere for them to stay, and you're bound to be asked to act as tour guide. At the very least, you'll be expected to know all about the region and be able to recommend sights to see and things to do.

How to be a tour guide

AngloINFO is here to help! First, you can refer to the Travel & Tourism category of The AngloFILE business directory where you'll find links to local hotels, bed & breakfasts and other accommodation.

Once that's been sorted out, you can turn your attention to finding out about things to do in the region, by referring to the categories covering Days Out: Trips & Tours and Children: Days Out For Kids

You'll find general information on the region, practical tips and points in the INFOrmation Pages covering Local Tourism Notes, and you can look in the Travel Guides - Barcelona section of the Bookshop to find guide books on the area.

Finally, to help you plan your days, AngloINFO provides links to Maps of the area. Once you've reached your destination, pay a visit to the local Tourism Office where you're bound to find flyers and brochures offering a wide range of interesting things to do that day.
