Cook wanted for large family in Gracia area of Barcelona. 8.00 am til 6.00pm with weekends off. Duties include 3 meals a day and shopping as necessary. Immediate start. |

Hi
my friend is coming over to Barcelona in the next couple of weeks. He is a qualified chef but does not mind working in a household. Could you tell me what kind of cooking you would be expecting , how much the pay is and if it is a live in position. He is twenty eight and has been working in a hotel in Dublin for the last three years. |

Hello
It is a long term position and is not live in. The cooking would be for the kids and the nanny so i am afraid it would be a trifle boring. Basic family meals will be the order of the day. Children 12,10,9 and 6. |

Hello Mary
Is the position still available? I am not a chief but I love cooking. I am use to cooking for large numbers. I have previous experience of cooking in a small bistro and bar food in Ireland. I have my own car, so going to the shops would be no problem. I would be able to help with housework and childcare if needed.
